Who are we?
Braver Angels of Tampa Bay is part of a nation-wide network of volunteer-led, cross-partisan teams bringing people together to reduce polarization and strengthen community involvement. Our leadership is equally represented from the right and the left.
Who are we here for?
Everyone! You don’t need to change your political views to participate. You only need curiosity, courage, and a willingness to listen. Whether you lean red, blue, or somewhere in between — you belong here.
What do we do?
We engage the local community in skill-building workshops, respectful dialogue, and collaborative action by helping folks learn how to listen, speak, and engage with courage and curiosity—especially when we disagree. These events allow folks from across the political spectrum get past the destructive stereotypes so we can have productive conversations about real issues that lead to constructive problem-solving.
What is our goal?
Our goal is simple: to build healthier conversations, stronger relationships, and a more united Tampa Bay in order to solve real local issues.
